Assigning policies

A policy is a collection of settings that you create and configure, then enforce.

MVISION ePO organizes its policies by product, then by categories in each product. For example, McAfee Agent includes categories for General, Repository, and Troubleshooting.

You can assign policies when adding roles to users. To add roles, select MenuConfigurationUsers & Roles. For more information, see Add roles and assign permissions to users.

To see policies in a specific policy category, select MenuPolicyPolicy Catalog, then select a product and category from the drop-down list. The Policy Catalog page displays only policies for products that the user has permissions to. Each category includes the McAfee Default policy. You can't delete, edit, export, or rename this policy, but you can copy them and edit the copy.
