Install the Migration Assistant

The Migration Assistant extension is required only for migrating legacy settings to McAfee MOVE AntiVirus 4.7. You must install it on your McAfee ePO server as a separate extension.

Before you begin

  • Download the Migration Assistant extension from the Software Manager or the McAfee download site (http://www.mcafee.com/us/downloads/).
  • Make sure that the extension file is in an accessible location on the network.

Task

  1. Log on to McAfee ePO as an administrator.
  2. Select Menu → Software → Extensions → Install Extension.
  3. Browse to and select the extension file, then click OK.
  4. Review the extension details and click OK.

Results

When installation is complete, the Migration Assistant is listed on the Extensions screen.
