Migration overview When you upgrade to the current version of McAfee Management for Optimized Virtual Environments AntiVirus (McAfee® MOVE AntiVirus), you can also migrate your custom settings and assignments. The McAfee MOVE AntiVirus Migration Assistant walks you through the migration process. You can let the Migration Assistant migrate all your settings and assignments automatically, based on your current settings and new product defaults, or you can select and configure them manually. The Migration Assistant migrates settings in environments managed with McAfee® ePolicy Orchestrator® (McAfee® ePO™) version 5.1.3 or later. Important: You must have administrator privileges to perform the migration using Migration Assistant. Which settings can I migrate? The McAfee MOVE AntiVirus Migration Assistant enables you to migrate settings for the most recent versions (3.5.1 and 3.6.1) of McAfee MOVE AntiVirus legacy products. What happens to policies during migration? This version of McAfee MOVE AntiVirus optimizes and consolidates legacy products into an integrated, efficient new platform.
