Resolved issues

The following issues have been resolved in recent releases.

McAfee Database Security 4.6.6 Update 4 release

DBSEC–3529 (TSMG-64) This release resolves the session timeout issue that occurs quickly when the Alerts tab is opened.
DBSEC–3521 (TSMG-58) An error no longer appears when the create_db2_scanuser.sql script is executed.
DBSEC–3518 (TSMG-55)

This release resolves the API error occurring when creating a rule with exception.

DBSEC–3510 (TSMG-50) This release resolves the McAfee Database Security server crash due to increasing server load.
DBSEC–3501 (TSMG-44) This release resolves the issue in displaying the active sensor name in the generated Database List (DAM) report.
DBSEC–3503​ (TSMG-45) This release updates the VA scan user creation script for MSSQL. Now, the user name can include a hyphen.
DBSEC–3505 (TSMG-46) This release resolves the password encryption issue for Sybase 16 vulnerability assessment.
DBSEC–3866 (TSMG-406) This release provides support for Percona server 5.7.26.
Sensor
DBSEC–3700 (TSMG-78)

This release resolves the issue in the installer script in a systemd environment. Now, McAfee Database Security sensor service's systemd configuration file is correctly updated on upgrade of sensor.

DBSEC–3760 (TSMG-237) This release resolves the issue in the sensor monitoring status. Now, sensor status remains in Fully Monitoring state without any fluctuation.
DBSEC–3528 (TSMG-63, TSMG-570) This release resolves the duplicate sensor message issue.
DBSEC–3694 (TSMG-73) This release resolves the Error 9-DAL_ERROR that occurred when alternate DBMS connection is enabled.

In the McAfee Database Security clustered server environment, a sensor is now connected successfully to the secondary node when the primary node is not available.

1257238 This release resolves issue in XML API. Now, the sensor approval is successful.
1262253 An error no longer appears when the create_scanuser.sql script is executed on the DB2 DBMS.
1263204 This release resolves the issue in importing the exported custom rules into McAfee Database Security.
1265950 This release disables the insecurely configured password autocompletion.

Sensor

This release resolves the nested SQL statement errors. Now, alerts consistently identify the statement's command type as SELECT.

1245356 Oracle error 12534 no longer appears when you configure McAfee Database Security to monitor the database.
1258626 Alert details displayed empty data in the Statement Hash field for SAP HANA database. This issue is resolved.

McAfee Database Security 4.6.6 release (November 2018)

1247427 An error no longer appears when you generate reports in Excel.
1247288 This release corrects the incorrect error message that appeared while approving or deleting a sensor with XML API.
1245040 McAfee Database Security server resource leak that caused the server crash is fixed.
1249605 This release fixes the missing code in batchupdate-db XML API service.
1234714 This release resolves the issue in receiving the dynamic alert reports intermittently. Now, the reports are received as scheduled.
1248383 This release fixes the issue in the sensor download link. Now, it is directed to the correct download site.
Sensor
1246621 When logon failed to DB2 11.1.0.3.0 (Linux and AIX), alerts were not generated and reported in the McAfee Database Security web console. This issue is now resolved.
1255567 When log on failed to DB2 10.5.0.10 (Linux, AIX, and Solaris), alerts were not generated and reported in the McAfee Database Security web console. This issue is now resolved.
1236784 You can now successfully connect the McAfee DAM sensor to Oracle database 12c.
1242603 Sensor installed on databases, such as SQL2008 R2 CU14, SQL2008R2CU13, and SRV2012_CU2, no longer crashes when alerts are sent.
