This release improves the existing feature.

McAfee DLP is now enhanced to support URL path that contains a query string. The query string can be matched and analyzed as part of a web protection rule. The URL List definition page includes these new options:

  • Query String (Advanced) — Allows you to add a query string in the text box from the URL path. The query string is a list of parameters and values separated by "&" symbol. It begins after the first "?" and goes to the end of the address.
  • Include the URL Query String in the match criteria — To analyze the query string as part of the match criteria, you can select this checkbox in the Paste URL: field.
