Why do you need to migrate from Web Reporter to Content Security Reporter

With Web Reporter reaching end of life, support for Web Reporter expires on December 31, 2017.

McAfee will not provide technical support for Web Reporter after December 31, 2017. You can continue to use Web Reporter, but we recommend that you migrate to the supported product, Content Security Reporter.

Another reason for migrating to Content Security Reporter is that you can manage your endpoints through McAfee ePO. Also, Content Security Reporter accepts log sources from products such as McAfee® Email Gateway and McAfee® Network Security Platform that are not supported by Web Reporter.
