Reference Issue description

System: end-user computers running Windows

Symptom: When Client Proxy is coming out of sleep mode, it takes 1–2 minutes to connect to the network and start redirecting traffic. Meanwhile, end users are not able to browse the Internet.

Problem: When the firewall on your network blocks all HTTP traffic, the Client Proxy captive portal check is blocked and times out, causing a delay of 60 seconds.

Solution: Client Proxy routes the captive portal check through the proxy server instead of the firewall.

Reference Issue description

Symptom: When Office 365 client software tries to connect to an HTTPS site that does not accept connections, the software sometimes hangs.

Solution: The connection is blocked, and Client Proxy forwards a block page to the Office 365 client.
