Remove the agent from Windows command line

Remove the agent from the Windows command line using the agent installation program, FrmInst.exe.

Note: If there are managed products installed on a system where the agent is removed, the now unmanaged agent continues in updater mode.

Task

  1. Open a command prompt on the target system.
  2. Run the agent installation program, FrmInst.exe, from the command line with the /REMOVE=AGENT option.
    Note: To remove McAfee Agent forcibly from the Windows client system, run the command FrmInst.exe /FORCEUNINSTALL.
